Stuart Pearce has backed Sarina Wiegman to manage in the Premier League following the Lionesses' triumph at Euro 2025 on Sunday.
England beat Spain on penalties to secure glory, with Chloe Kelly netting the winning spot-kick from 12 yards to spark wild celebrations around the country.
Wiegman has now won two trophies with England, with Sunday's victory coming three years after the Lionesses won Euro 2022.
She also guided the country to the final of the Women's World Cup in 2023, though they came up short on that occasion with Spain reigning supreme.

Pearce has now provided his verdict on Wiegman.
And the former England star has backed her to manage in the Premier League one day, in what would be a significant historic move.
"I see no reason why not. She would bring fresh eyes and a viewpoint. I don’t think it’s outlandish as people think," he told BresBet.
"Football management is football management, her CV is outstanding, we are massively proud of what she has achieved.

"She’s been a brilliant addition to the FA, no doubt about that.
"Recruitment from the FA was brilliant and there's no reason why she or Emma Hayes can’t manage in the men’s game."
No woman is yet to manage in the Premier League.
But Wiegman's credentials speak for themselves, with England currently the best team on the planet.

The Dutchwoman's current contract is due to expire in 2027, with the FA delighted with the work she's done.
FA chief Mark Bullingham, however, kept his cards close to his chest when quizzed on potential contract talks.
"It's a bit early for that," he said.
"We are delighted she is with us for the World Cup, and we will have that conversation at an appropriate time."
He continued: "She is an incredible manager, and we're delighted to be working with her, so that has to be up to her. We will have those conversations when they're ready to go.
"She's an incredible person, incredible coach and incredible leader.
"We're very lucky to have her, proud to have her as part of the team, and obviously she will be working with us for the World Cup."
Bullingham then admitted that he wasn't worried about Wiegman potentially leaving her post as manager.

He stated: "We are committed to her until 2027, and she is committed to us. We have a new [coaching] team coming in for her.
"We haven't quite started working on the plans for [the 2027 World Cup], but I know her focus, hopefully after success on Sunday, will shift quite quickly to that."
