This isn't the first time the England star has been caught swearing on TV

England striker Chloe Kelly found herself apologising for inappropriate language after uttering an expletive during the live TV broadcasts of the Lionesses' championship parade.

The Manchester City forward was being interviewed by BBC presenter Alex Scott outside Buckingham Palace when she was overcome with enthusiasm.

Thousands of supporters assembled to celebrate the team's Euro 2025 victory, with many families and children present both at the venue and watching the television coverage.

The expletive marks the second occasion in three days that Kelly's colourful vocabulary has caused broadcasters to issue apologies, following a similar incident during ITV's coverage of Sunday's final against Spain.

During her brief appearance with Scott, Kelly expressed her joy at celebrating alongside her teammates, declaring: "It feels so good to stand side by side with every single one of these girls and the staff you don't see behind the scenes. It's so f*****g special."

The presenter immediately offered an apology to viewers for the offensive language that had been broadcast.

Kelly's interview lasted only a few minutes before Scott moved on to speak with manager Sarina Wiegman and players Michelle Agyemang and Hannah Hampton on the stage.

The incident occurred as the squad celebrated before massive crowds who had gathered to honour the team's second consecutive Euros title.

Kelly's exuberant language first surfaced on Sunday evening following England's triumph in the final, when she told ITV viewers: "This team is made of magic and steel. When we were down against Sweden and down against Italy, we f*****g showed grit and determination and we came back. You can't write the English off."

The forward had also been caught shouting an expletive into cameras whilst receiving her medal from Prince William, much to the entertainment of supporters.

Her passionate outbursts during both broadcasts reflect the overwhelming emotions experienced by the squad after securing their second European title in succession, though they have required multiple apologies from television networks.

The victory parade saw the players arrive on a bus decorated with "2022 and 2025 European Champions" whilst wearing shirts displaying "HOME" with the H designed as two letter I's to symbolise their consecutive titles.

Kerry Davis, England's first Black female international footballer, presented the trophy before the squad lifted it amid smoke and thunderous applause.

Captain Leah Williamson became emotional whilst addressing the gathering, stating: "I've been crying all the way down the Mall. It's unbelievable. It's one of the best things we've ever been a part of."

Alessia Russo, who netted the crucial equaliser in the final, described feeling "on cloud nine" and called the massive turnout "surreal", noting she could never have imagined such scenes.
