Ryan Reynolds appears to be adding another star to his history-making Wrexham side.
Wrexham have made their move for Fulham captain Tom Cairney, approaching the veteran midfielder with an attractive financial package as they prepare for life in the Championship.
The Hollywood-owned Welsh club are reportedly offering the 34-year-old substantial wages alongside the promise of regular first-team football.
The Red Dragons, under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, have already strengthened their squad following promotion from League One with the signings of Plymouth striker Ryan Hardie and Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward. Manager Phil Parkinson has identified Cairney as a priority target, with discussions between the player and Wrexham understood to have already taken place.

Former Fulham striker Louis Saha believes the Welsh club's unique appeal could prove decisive in Cairney's decision-making process.
"Players will always consider what benefits their career," Saha told Coin Poker.
"For Tom Cairney, he needs guarantees that he'll have playing time, that he's part of a plan. He'll want to know the club are growing."
The Frenchman highlighted Wrexham's distinctive position in modern football. "Wrexham are not a traditionally big club but they're doing amazing things off the pitch, and the two owners are very commercially astute.
"It's a different kind of club, it's a new way of doing things, and they're doing them well."

Whilst the Cottagers have offered their captain a one-year extension to continue his decade-long association with the club, Wrexham's proposal includes enhanced playing opportunities alongside their lucrative financial terms.
The Championship newcomers are positioning themselves as an attractive destination for the experienced midfielder, who would likely face reduced minutes in the Premier League next season.
Saha also pointed to the "visibility" factor that comes with Wrexham's Hollywood ownership as another potential draw for the midfielder.

Despite Wrexham's ambitious pursuit, Cairney has previously expressed strong emotional ties to Fulham.
Following his goal in their victory against Brentford in May, the midfielder spoke warmly about his relationship with the club and supporters.
"I've been through a lot here, through a lot with the fans. It was an incredible moment when I scored. It's a special bond," Cairney told BBC Match of the Day at the time.
