Roy Keane believed Adam Wharton was 'a bit soft' during England's 2-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Albania on Sunday night.
The Three Lions battled their way to all three points courtesy of a late brace from Harry Kane, who now has 78 international goals to his name.
England boss Thomas Tuchel decided to make seven changes from the side that had beaten Serbia 2-0 at Wembley earlier in the week.
And Wharton was unleashed from the start for the very first time, with the Crystal Palace star featuring in his third international match.

Keane, however, wasn't too impressed by his first-half showing.
Speaking on ITV, the Manchester United legend described the 21-year-old as 'a bit soft', though insisted he was a big admirer.
“I do like Adam Wharton," he said.
“A lot of the modern midfielders, their first option seems to be ‘can I go sideways or backwards?’

“He’s still new to it, so I’m not going to be too harsh on him.
“But as he matures and starts playing more games, put demands on your team-mates.”
While Keane was critical of Wharton, Tuchel made it clear after the game that he was satisfied with the youngster's display on his first England start.
"Good, good," he said when asked for his verdict.
"Not easy, because we tried a little bit different in the build-up with John Stones [moving into midfield].
“In the second half, we reversed a little bit and played a 4-3-3 so he was alone, sometimes a little exposed.
“It’s not his fault. We were a bit open and a bit sloppy. But overall, he did well.”
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham is making headlines again after the Real Madrid star was left furious following Tuchel's decision to withdraw him from the match.

And Tuchel has promised to 'review' Bellingham's behaviour as he looks to steer England to glory next summer.
"I don't want to make more out of it but I stick to my words - 'behaviour is key' and respect towards the team-mates who come in," he stated.
"Decisions are made and you have to accept it as a player.
"Morgan Rogers was for sure not happy when he couldn't start today because he deserves to play for us and he wants to play all the time.
"We gave him a bit of a rest because he came with a lot of minutes for his club and played against Serbia."
