GB News sports editor Jack Otway takes you through Saturday's action

There were three 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The action took place after West Ham's impressive 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the London Stadium, with the Hammers picking up all three points to boost their chances of staying in the Premier League.

In that game, Crysencio Summerville continued his impressive form by firing the Hammers ahead.

Jarrod Bowen and Matheus Fernandes then netted, with Brian Brobbey scoring a consolation for the Black Cats in the 66th minute.

The biggest talking point was Granit Xhaka, however.

The Switzerland international clashed with West Ham fans while sat in the stands, with the ex-Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen star losing his cool as his side slumped to defeat.

But what happened in the 3pm kick-offs? GB News is on hand to take you through the action.

Manchester City 2-0 Wolves

Manchester City went into their showdown with Wolves seeking a return to winning ways after consecutive defeats to Bodo/Glimt and Manchester United.

And though Rob Edwards' side have improved of late, Pep Guardiola's team were ultimately too tough to overcome.

Antoine Semenyo

Omar Marmoush put City ahead, with the Egypt international scoring in the Premier League for the first time this season.

Antoine Semenyo, who arrived from Bournemouth earlier this month, doubled their advantage in first-half stoppage time.

Fulham 2-1 Brighton

Fulham have performed well against the big teams at Craven Cottage in recent weeks, having drawn with Liverpool and beaten Chelsea.

And they continued their fine home form with a 2-1 victory over Brighton.

Yasin Ayari broke the deadlock in the 28th minute, with Brighton well on top in the first half.

But Samuel Chukwueze and Harry Wilson scored to turn things around, with the latter netting from 30 yards to snatch all three points in stoppage time.

Burnley 2-2 Tottenham

Tottenham fans will have been hoping their team could build on their impressive Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund in midweek prior to their clash with Burnley.

As ever with Spurs, however, it's never as simple as that.

Micky van de Ven put Tottenham ahead in the 38th minute, only for Burnley to turn things around via efforts from Axel Tuanzebe and Lyle Foster.

It looked as though Burnley would hold on - but Cristian Romero had other ideas, with the Spurs star scoring at the death to prevent more embarrassment for Thomas Frank.
