The England and Chelsea star recently withdrew herself from international selection

England footballer Millie Bright has ended her relationship with fiancé Levi Crew and begun a romance with a married personal trainer she met at a gym in Redhill, Surrey.

The 31-year-old Chelsea defender, who captained the Lionesses to the World Cup final in 2023, reportedly met the fitness instructor last year whilst working out at the Surrey facility.

Sources told The Sun that Bright "has fallen hook, line and sinker for her ideal man", with the relationship developing after she split from Crew earlier this year.

The trainer, who has not been identified, subsequently ended his marriage "out of the blue", according to insiders.

The personal trainer has reportedly left his wife and is now living at Bright's home, with sources describing significant upheaval from the situation.

"The fall-out has been enormous, but Millie has fallen hook, line and sinker for her ideal man," an insider told The Sun.

It is further reported that the fitness instructor has moved into the Chelsea captain's residence following the end of both their previous relationships.

It was emphasised there was no suggestion that either party was unfaithful to their former partners.

The development comes as Bright withdrew from England's Euro 2025 squad earlier this week.

Bright announced her withdrawal from the upcoming European Championships in Switzerland through an Instagram post, stating it was "one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make".

The defender, who won Euro 2022 with England, wrote that whilst her "pride and ego" told her to participate, she believed "the team and the fans deserve more".

"Right now I am not able to give 100% mentally or physically," she explained in her statement.

She added that stepping back was necessary "for my health, my future in the game, and most importantly the team".

England's tournament campaign begins against France on 5 July.

Bright and Crew had announced their engagement in December 2023, with the footballer posting photos from Mauritius showing her diamond ring.

She had previously described Crew as her "king" who supported her "through thick and thin", and even has a tattoo of his eye on her arm that featured prominently in official squad photographs.

However, fans recently noticed she had removed all references to him from her social media accounts and deleted the engagement announcement.

The couple had shared a home in Surrey and maintained close ties between their families before the split.

Bright underwent minor knee surgery following a successful season with Chelsea, where she won the treble whilst remaining unbeaten domestically.
