The defender's father John, a church minister, has significantly shaped his life and career.

The family maintains their religious priorities, with Guehi explaining: "They go to church first. The family go to church.
"Church will start at 10:30. It will be finished at 12:30 and they rush home or rush to the stadium to watch me if it's a 2pm kick-off."
Guehi credits divine intervention for his success, stating "God's grace" when asked why he succeeded where childhood teammates didn't.
Guehi's Palace career reached its pinnacle in May when he captained the club to their first major trophy, defeating Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup final.
