Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly analysing the potential options to replace current manager Erik ten Hag.
It is claimed that Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi is one name that has been identified as a target for the Red Devils.
Ratcliffe is keen to stamp his mark on United after the 71-year-old's investment into the club was fully ratified last week.
The INEOS founder has acquired 27.7 per cent of the shares at Old Trafford and will be in charge of all footballing matters.

Ratcliffe outlined his desire last week to transform United's fortunes on the pitch and close the gap on rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.
He has already brought in a new CEO, with Omar Berrada to join from City in the summer after a period of gardening leave.
United are also set to appoint a sporting director, with Dan Ashworth hoping to complete a move from Newcastle having also been placed on gardening leave.
But another decision Ratcliffe and his INEOS team will have to make is whether Ten Hag is the right manager to spearhead the revolution.
The Manchester Evening News claims that Ratcliffe is not completely sold on the Dutchman and replacements are being analysed.
One candidate United are interested in is De Zerbi, who has impressed at Brighton since replacing Graham Potter in September 2022.
The Italian led the Seagulls to a sixth-placed finish in his first season in charge and qualified for Europe for the first time in the club's history.
United are not the only team interested in De Zerbi though, with rivals City also tracking him as a long-term replacement for Pep Guardiola.
Ten Hag is under pressure with United sitting sixth in the league, eight points off the guaranteed Champions League qualification spots.
United are still in the FA Cup though and a trophy and a top-four finish could be enough to save the former Ajax boss' job.
Former Red Devils right-back Gary Neville believes United may have already decided whether Ten Hag will remain next season.
He reckons Champions League qualification may not be enough to change the hierarchy's minds.

He said on Sky Sports: "If you look at [Berrada] coming in from City as CEO, and looking to get Dan Ashworth from Newcastle, they're going to make a decision quite quickly if they haven't already.
"I suspect Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Dave Brailsford already know whether Erik ten Hag will be the manager next season.
"I can't believe they're going to wait until May to make that decision, and then leave themselves short.
"Where Man Utd have been found out in the last 10 years in recruitment is making poor decisions, late decisions, not being ahead of the game.

"I don't think they're going to do that, so for me I suspect they've already come to a conclusion already.
"It may already be that it's Champions League or not, they still will stick with that decision."
