Kerkez's move to Liverpool comes after an exceptional campaign with Bournemouth, where he established himself as a key player in their defensive setup.
The Hungarian full-back featured in all 38 of Bournemouth's Premier League fixtures during the 2024-25 season, demonstrating remarkable consistency and fitness.
His attacking contributions were equally impressive, registering six goals and two assists from his left-back position.
Since arriving at the Vitality Stadium from AZ Alkmaar for £15.5million in July 2023, Kerkez has accumulated 67 appearances across two seasons.

His performances have marked him as one of the Premier League's most promising young defenders.
The 21-year-old's ability to combine defensive solidity with attacking threat has clearly caught the attention of Liverpool's recruitment team, who view the full-back as the perfect replacement for Andy Robertson.
In March, Kerkez expressed his ambitions to compete at the elite level of football.
"As a kid, you dream to play at the highest level, win the trophies, be on the best teams," he said.
He revealed that whilst his representatives were handling transfer matters, he remained focused on his performances.
"These are the things that my agent is on. My dad is on. It is not something that they occupy me with because the season is still going, so there's no point talking about anything," Kerkez stated.
His desire for silverware and top-level competition appears set to be fulfilled with his impending move to Anfield.

The south coast club also recruited Argentina under-23 international Julio Soler in the same position during the winter transfer window.
