Liverpool have been brutally trolled online by rival fans after their embarrassing 3-0 defeat at home to Atalanta in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.
The Reds have been flying high at the top of the Premier League and headed into the knockout phase of the Europa League as one of the firm favourites to win the title.
They were handed what was deemed a favourable quarter-final draw against an Atalanta side that has been struggling in Serie A this campaign.
The Italian side are at risk of missing out on European football as they sit sixth in the league table.

However, they took full advantage of a woeful Liverpool display at Anfield on Thursday night to pull off one of the upsets of the competition.
Liverpool would have fancied their chances of laying down a marker in the first leg to potentially try and rest some first-team stars for their league title race.
Jurgen Klopp took a gamble with players such as Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Andy Robertson all on the bench to start the game.
And he was punished with Gianluca Scamacca scoring either side of half-time to stun the Anfield crowd.
Klopp rung the changes in the second half and Salah had the ball in the back of the net to halve the deficit, but it was ruled out for offside.
Just minutes later and Liverpool's day went from bad to worse as Mario Pasalic tapped in after a spilled save from Caoimhin Kelleher to make it 3-0.
Liverpool now have a mountain to climb next Thursday when they travel to Atalanta in the second leg.
All optimism from Liverpool fans prior to the match about a trip to Dublin for another European final appears to have evaporated.

And rival supporters have taken plenty of joy in Liverpool's woeful defeat.
One viewer joked: "Klopp farewell tour ending with just a League Cup."
Another mocked: "3-0 down to Atalanta in your own backyard, Liverpool are a gift that keep on giving, Klopp’s farewell party is getting destroyed, tears in my eyes."
