The squad have continued their partying stateside

After clinching the Championship title at Plymouth on May 3, Leeds players, staff and supporters have been partying - and it shows no sign of letting up yet.

After huge celebrations, including captain Ethan Ampadu lifting the trophy on the south coast, the Whites had an unforgettable bus parade around the city with an estimated 150,000 fans showing their support.

It is the first piece of silverware the club have been able to celebrate with their fans since winning the First Division in 1992, with their recent Championship success under Marcelo Bielsa coming during the Covid-19 pandemic - meaning fans were unable to celebrate in true fashion.

They were sure to make up for that, though, with Ampadu leading the celebrations across the city with a microphone. The 24-year-old started X-rated chants for his team-mates, who also joined in.

An estimated 150,000 fans flocked to Leeds city centre, turning it into a sea of white, blue and yellow

The city was covered in white, blue and yellow smoke and shirts, as fans turned out in their masses to celebrate their side’s success this year.

Patrick Bamford, who made his 200th appearance for the club in April, said he had ‘never seen so many people’, and that moments like the parade ‘make it all worth it’.

It hasn’t stopped there for Leeds players, who have followed Burnley and Wrexham to Las Vegas to celebrate in true style.

No player has typified the lavish celebrations more than Largie Ramazani. Despite struggling to break into the starting XIfor Leeds, the winger has been the life of the party.

He has been spotted in Las Vegas with women on either side of him, as the 24-year-old took to Instagram to show off the luxurious resort the players had been attending.

The players were also greeted by models in bikinis, with placards of their faces, while Ramazani can be spotted on someone’s shoulders and dancing.

The Belgian wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s a parade inside my city’.

The footage also shows Jayden Bogle, Sam Byram, Mateo Joseph, Dan James and Junior Firpo at The Chainsmokers DJ set. The placards made a re-emergence, too, as they were spotted in the nightclub XS Las Vegas.

Firpo, 28, is seemingly on his farewell tour, with his contract set to expire in June despite scoring four goals and providing ten assists in the league. He was, arguably, unlucky not to be named in the team of the season.

It has been reported the club will not be offering the full-back a new deal, and he took to X to thank the fans during his four-year stay at the club.

He wrote: “It’s almost midnight and I can’t still get out my head what a day was the parade.. such an incredible fan base.

“You deserve the best, what a few hours we had in that pub. Everyone with some videos of it just post it here , I want to see it again and again. I love you.”

It hasn’t just been the players that have enjoyed the celebrations, though, as Daniel Farke was seen mimicking a DJ set and singing Leeds’ famous chant ‘Marching on Together’.

After confirming promotion, Farke, 48, said: “I work for one of the most emotional clubs in the country, it is never easy. You don’t just lead the players, you have to lead the whole group.

“I’m pretty proud of the lads. It’s a very heavy shirt to wear, and we have delivered. [It is] fully deserved to be back in the Premier League, where we belong.”

The German also said he would be a ‘fire beast’ during the celebrations, and he and his players have lived up to their promise.
