Jude Bellingham has claimed England's Player of the Year honour for the 2024-25 season, with supporters voting the Real Madrid midfielder ahead of Declan Rice, who finished second, and Harry Kane, despite his goalscoring form.
The 22-year-old becomes just the second male footballer to receive this recognition whilst playing outside England. Bayern Munich's Owen Hargreaves achieved the same feat back in 2006, some 19 years ago.
It's been quite a journey for Bellingham, who featured eight times for the Three Lions during the campaign.
His contributions helped secure Nations League promotion under Lee Carsley's temporary leadership, before Thomas Tuchel took charge for World Cup qualifying.

Against the Republic of Ireland in November, Bellingham provided two assists and earned a penalty.
His creative influence continued into World Cup qualifying, where he set up a goal in the match against Albania in March.
