Harry Kane has explained why he was seen staring into the stands following Bayern Munich's 2-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
The German giants secured a crucial victory, with Kane netting the winner following an opener from Luis Diaz.
Kylian Mbappe pulled one back for Real late on but it wasn't enough, with Vincent Kompany's side holding a slender lead going into the second leg.
At full-time, Kane was seen scanning the crowd with the former Tottenham striker delighted after propelling his side to victory.

When asked what he was looking at, the 32-year-old said: "That was where my family is sitting. Trying to find my wife and my family but couldn’t quite. So they are somewhere."
The match between the two European superpowers lived up to the billing, with Bayern superior on the night.
Vincent Kompany's side should really have won by more, with Real's late goal giving them hope of turning things around in the second leg at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday.

Kane, however, was still pleased they were able to come out on top.
"All the hype surrounding it, coming to Madrid and trying to get a result - it’s always difficult," he said.
"We had some good moments, but so did they – you have to give them credit. We can be very happy with the win heading into the second leg."

"We always feel like we’re a threat; we’re always confident that we can score.
"We’re in a good position now, but we have to stay focused. Now we need to recover, and next week we’ll try to repeat this success."
Bayern boss Kompany, meanwhile, has urged on his side to keep their foot on the gas as they look to win the prestigious trophy for the first time since 2020.
"It's important to continue our momentum," he stated.
"They [Madrid] will give us a tough game, they are the type of team that can do something special, but so can we.

"We have earned the right to be confident and be demanding in those games. But it's football, you never know.
"I'm not centre stages, it's the players. So I just try to give them a little word when I can, [like] something I might have done when I was playing.
"But it's a player's game."
As for Real boss Alvaro Arbeloa, the Spaniard is hopeful that his team can still reach the semi-finals despite the disappointing result.
“Well, we’re still in it. That’s clear. We’re one goal away from levelling the tie," he stated.
"We’re capable of winning on any pitch, and we’ve shown that with the chances we’ve had. The opponent wasn’t going to be easy… and it’s a shame we didn’t score a few more.”
