Gareth Southgate could be set to take his next managerial job in the Premier League.
The former England boss has not been in the dugout since the Euro 2024 final, when the Three Lions lost to Spain 2-1.
Two days after, Southgate resigned and Lee Carsley has stepped up from the Under-21s into an interim role while several candidates are looked at as possible replacements.
But while Southgate has already landed a job with UEFA, Everton are considering hiring him as a replacement for Sean Dyche, according to talkSPORT.

The Toffees have just been purchased by Roma owner Dan Friedkin after Farhad Moshiri accepted a lower offer.
It will see the billionaire make a significant loss on his £700million investment, selling his 94.1 per cent stake in Everton to the Friedkin Group.
And one of the first actions Friedkin could take at the club is to axe Dyche and replace him with Southgate.
Everton have started the season disastrously and are already looking like potential relegation candidates.
They have lost four of their five Premier League games so far, conceding 14 along the way and sitting 19th in the table.

Dyche has been in sticky situations before, having kept Burnley up against the odds in the Premier League for several years.
But even the 53-year-old's managerial nous might not be enough this time at Everton, who survived the drop last season with 40 points.
Southgate has not managed at club level since 2009 when he was in charge of Middlesbrough.

He coached Boro for three years after moving into the role following his retirement as a player at the club.
After getting sacked in 2009, he was hired by England in 2013 to take charge of the Under-21s.
It was only when Sam Allardyce was sacked following a sting operation that Southgate was offered the chance of a promotion, taking the Three Lions to two European Championship finals under his stewardship.
