Derby County Football Club has released a statement after seven people were injured when they were struck by a car in the city centre.
One man in his 30's is under arrest after the incident, which involved a black Suzuki Swift, took place at 9.30pm on Saturday night.
Ambulance crews rendered aid to those injured on the scene before multiple people were hospitalised.
On Sunday morning, the club described being "shocked and saddened" by the news.
The East Midlands side said: "Derby County Football Club is shocked and saddened by the incident in the city centre last night, in which a number of people were injured.
"Our thoughts are with all those affected, their families, and the wider community at this difficult time.
"We would also like to place on record our sincere thanks to the emergency services who responded so quickly and professionally."
An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman told GB News it sent three paramedics in three ambulance cars, seven ambulances, and its Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene after it received a call at 9.31pm Saturday.

It then transported seven victims of the incident to Royal Derby Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre.
Police officers stopped the car involved in the incident shortly after it occurred.
Derby County Football Club, also known as The Rams, currently competes in the EFL Championship.
They sit in 8th place in the league table, firmly in the hunt for a play-off spot, as they look for a chance to be promoted into the Premier League.

Multiple people have been injured in the incident, which took place in Derby city centre | XAlongside their ambition on the pitch, the club is deeply embedded in its community.
The Derby County Community Trust (DCCT), supports over 25,000 people annually and the club's core identity values include being "the heartbeat of our community".
The Labour MP for Derby North, Catherine Atkinson, has also reacted to the incident in a statement on social media.
She said: "I am deeply shocked by reports that people have been injured in a serious incident in Derby city centre this evening."

She also urged people to follow police advice to avoid the area and for those with information to contact Derbyshire Constabulary as soon as possible.
Derbyshire Constabulary told GB News no further information was yet available.
