Chelsea centre-back Wesley Fofana has been branded a "habitual offender" by a magistrate after receiving his tenth motoring conviction.
The 25-year-old French defender was clocked travelling at 54mph in a 40mph zone on the A316 Chertsey Road in Twickenham, West London, at 1.30am on 27 February last year.
Fofana was behind the wheel of his £300,000 white Rolls Royce Cullinan when an automatic speed camera captured the offence.
Magistrate Alan Jefferson told Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court: "It's obvious that he's a habitual offender."

Prosecutor Kari Williamson informed the court that Fofana's driving record showed he was already disqualified and holds a non-UK licence.
"He is disqualified until May 13, 2027 for an offence of dangerous driving," she stated.
The defender's solicitor, Stephen Oldham, explained that his client had appeared before magistrates in May last year, when he received a two-year ban as a totting-up offender with 47 points on his record.

Mr Oldham noted that the speeding incident occurred just weeks after Fofana's most recent offence and confirmed to the court: "He earns more than 200,000 a week."
Fofana's driving history includes striking EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney in 2024, leaving the soap star with a broken collarbone after being hit by the player's Lamborghini on the King's Road in Chelsea.
Gaffney was "catapulted" into the air during the collision but Fofana was not deemed at fault and passed a breathalyser test at the scene.
The defender joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2022 for £70million on a seven-year contract, having won the FA Cup with the Foxes in 2021.
Persistent injuries including an ACL tear and hamstring surgery have restricted him to just ten Premier League appearances this campaign.

The £1,062 penalty comprised a £666 fine, £266 surcharge and £130 in court costs.
Last October, Fofana avoided a custodial sentence after admitting dangerous driving when footage emerged of him overtaking on a motorway hard shoulder in Surrey while driving his white Lamborghini Urus.
He was sentenced to 300 hours of unpaid community service and received an 18-month driving ban, though he was already prohibited from driving until May 2027.

In May last year, magistrates at Lavender Hill fined him £7,569 and imposed 38 penalty points for eight separate speeding offences committed in his Rolls Royce, Lamborghini and £100,000 Audi.
