Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 in Saturday's west London derby at Stamford Bridge to soar to the top of the Premier League table.
On a day where VAR drama exploded into life, goals in either half from Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez gave the Blues all three points as they continued their unbeaten start to the new season.
Pedro headed home for Chelsea in the ninth minute of stoppage time at the end of the first half, with his goal coming after Josh King had seen his effort controversially chalked off for the Cottagers.
Fernandez then scored a penalty to double Chelsea's lead. GB News will now look at four things we learnt from the contest in the capital.
VAR drama explodes
Josh King's opening goal is disallowed for a 'careless challenge' after VAR review ❌

King, who is just 18, fired a fine low effort past Robert Sanchez to spark wild celebrations in the Fulham end.
But the youngster cruelly had his goal disallowed after Rodrigo Muniz was adjudged to have fouled Trevoh Chalobah in the build-up.
Referee Rob Jones described Muniz's tackle as 'careless' but it was undeniably harsh - and Fulham boss Marco Silva had every right to be aggrieved.
Muniz caught Chalobah by accident. Yet he was still penalised nonetheless and common sense, in future, must be applied more.
VAR also played a role in Chelsea's second goal, too.
The ball struck Ryan Sessegnon on the arm but VAR failed to pick up that Pedro had handled the ball first.
If technology really is the way forward, the Premier League need to get it right. That isn't happening at the moment and the system continues to spark debate, over six years on from its introduction.

Pedro continues to look prolific
Joao Pedro has scored five goals for Chelsea since his summer arrival from Brighton following his heroics against Fulham

Not every big-name signing has lived up to expectations at Chelsea in recent years.
Pedro, however, looks to be the real deal.
The 23-year-old has experienced a stunning start to life at Stamford Bridge, scoring five goals across all competitions since his blockbuster arrival from Brighton.
He is quickly establishing himself as a big fan favourite and, should he continue to produce the goods, Chelsea could find themselves in contention for the title come the end of the campaign in May.

Marco Silva cut a frustrated figure as Fulham lost to Chelsea

Silva's frustrations clear to see
It has been a frustrating summer for Silva.
He has wanted Fulham to strengthen, only for the Cottagers to endure one of the quietest transfer windows in recent memory.
Silva has worked wonders at Fulham but there's a sense they're starting to stagnate. While they're performing well, they're still waiting for their first league win of the season.
No wonder he was so furious at VAR. Without it, his side could potentially have gone home with something - instead of with nothing to show for their efforts.
Garnacho introduction will give Chelsea a boost

Chelsea suffered a blow in the first half when Liam Delap was forced to withdraw from the contest due to a hamstring injury.
When the Premier League resumes after the international break, Alejandro Garnacho could become a big player for Enzo Maresca's side.
Garnacho was unveiled prior to the match and watched the action as Chelsea secured all three points.
His arrival will give Maresca a boost, with the former Manchester United star poised to play a big role - especially with Delap now sidelined for the foreseeable future.
