A severe leg injury forced former Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson to leave the pitch on a stretcher during Bromley's pre-season encounter with Millwall on Saturday evening.
The 33-year-old required gas and air treatment following a collision in the 68th minute of the friendly fixture.
The veteran defender was attempting to halt a Millwall winger's advance when the incident occurred, leaving him in considerable pain on the Hayes Lane turf.
Medical personnel attended to Jenkinson for an extended period whilst he remained on the ground, having signalled urgently for assistance from the bench immediately after the collision.

The distressing scene unfolded as Jenkinson extended his leg in an attempt to intercept the Championship side's attacking player, resulting in an impact that left him writhing on the pitch.
The collision occurred during the build-up to Millwall's second goal of the evening.
Witnesses reported that the defender immediately fell to the ground following the challenge and remained prone whilst gesturing frantically towards the dugout for medical attention.

The severity of the injury was apparent as paramedics administered gas and air to manage his pain before carefully transferring him onto a stretcher for removal from the field of play.
The match at Hayes Lane experienced a substantial interruption as medical staff provided prolonged treatment to the injured player. The concerning nature of the incident resulted in a significant pause to proceedings between the League Two and Championship clubs.

As Jenkinson was eventually carried from the pitch, Bromley offered their support to the experienced defender. The club posted: "Carl Jenkinson is stretchered off following a lengthy spell receiving treatment on the pitch. We're all wishing you a speedy recovery, Jenko."
The extensive medical attention required for the former England international contributed to ten minutes being added at the conclusion of the match.
