Manchester United's difficult start to the season continued on Saturday, with Brentford winning 3-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium to pile more misery on Ruben Amorim.
A brace from Igor Thiago had the Bees in dreamland, with the Brazilian scoring twice in the first half to put them in cruise control.

Brentford star steps up

It was a chastening summer for Brentford. Not only did they lose manager Thomas Frank to Tottenham, but they were also powerless to prevent the departures of star duo Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa as well.
But the Bees have seen Thiago step up, with the striker netting his fourth and fifth goals for the club on Saturday.
Many wondered how Brentford would cope losing Mbeumo and Wissa. They were, after all, key cogs in the Frank machine during his time in the dugout.
Now they have their answer. With Thiago in this form, maybe Keith Andrews' team won't be sucked into a relegation dogfight after all...
Sesko goal bodes well
United have had to be patient with Sesko following his blockbuster move from RB Leipig back in the summer.
But the forward is now up and running, having converted from close range at the third attempt in the first half.

It still was a display that will leave much to be desired. Sesko struggled, particularly in the second half, with his team-mates often failing to provide him with service.
Yet the goal will bode well for the future. United will now hope he can go on a run as they look to climb up the table.
Stadium woes continue for United
