The Blues confirmed the charge in an official statement released by the club.
The club's statement confirmed Ducksch had been charged "in relation to an offence of driving with excess alcohol."
Through the statement, the German striker expressed remorse for his conduct.
The club said: "Marvin wishes to apologise to his teammates, staff and supporters of the club and accepts full responsibility for his actions."

Birmingham indicated the situation had been addressed through internal disciplinary procedures.
The statement concluded: "The matter has been dealt with internally and no further comment will be made at this time."
The charge explains why Ducksch was absent from the matchday squad when Birmingham defeated promotion-chasing Wrexham 2-0 on Sunday.
Head coach Chris Davies addressed questions about the striker's omission following the victory over Wrexham.

Davies explained: "Marvin was (missing) today because of a decision of mine in terms of the selection of the squad.
"It's an internal matter which is currently being dealt with and that is, at this moment in time, all I can say."
Second-half strikes from Carlos Vicente and Christoph Klarer secured the win, preventing a fourth consecutive league defeat for the Blues.
When asked whether Ducksch would feature in Birmingham's upcoming Championship fixture at Hull City on April 18, Davies declined to confirm the player's availability.

Ducksch arrived at St Andrew's last August from Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, signing a three-year contract with the Championship club.
The forward is currently in his debut campaign with Birmingham and has contributed 11 goals across 35 appearances in all competitions this season.
10 of those strikes have come in league fixtures, making him a key figure in the Blues' attacking options.
His most recent outing for Davies' side was a brief nine-minute substitute appearance during the 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town on 6 April, the same day as the collision that led to his arrest.
