Spurs booked their place in the final with a 2-0 win in Norway

Tottenham Hotspur have booked their place in the Europa League final after a convincing 2-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night, with Ange Postecoglou giving an emotional speech after the fixture.

The win sealed a 5-1 aggregate triumph in their semi-final tie after goals from Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro.

Spurs will now face Manchester United in an all-English final on May 21 in Bilbao.

The North London side's European success comes as a welcome relief amid their domestic struggles.

Manager Ange Postecoglou delivered an emotional post-match speech that resonated deeply with supporters.

The Australian's rallying cry left many fans in tears as he praised his squad's resilience during a challenging season.

Postecoglou's heartfelt address to his players highlighted the challenges they've overcome together this term.

"I've said it before, what you, as a group, players and staff, have gone through this year," the Australian manager began.

"Let me tell you, I've been in this game a very long time and I've experienced it all."

He continued with pride: "But I'm so proud of just how all of you have stuck together.

"Not one time have I felt like people are not believing or have lost what we have in here.

"It was just outstanding. People will never realise what it's taken for you guys to be in this position.

"And you deserve all the credit for that, it's unbelievable what you've done."

The Spurs boss then turned his focus to the upcoming final against Manchester United.

"Now we've got just under two weeks to prepare. Every day is important," he stressed.

"Every day, every training session and every game we have between now and then is about getting ready for that big game."

Postecoglou emphasised the potential significance of their European campaign.

"But you can change things. You saw what you did. Four hundred supporters here today, they'll never forget it, and there are thousands back home," he stated.

"What an emotional speech," remarked a fourth.

The loyalty inspired by the manager was clear when another supporter declared: "Yeah, I'd dive head first through a brick wall for him, ICL (I can't lie)."

Spurs currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, with results falling well below expectations.

Victory in the May 21 final in Bilbao would provide significant redemption for Postecoglou's side.

The chance to lift European silverware against Manchester United offers an opportunity to salvage their season after so many issues back at home.
