Andre Onana has been labelled "genuinely pathetic" and "a disaster" by fuming Manchester United fans for his part in both Grimsby goals, with The Mariners finding themselves two goals to the good at half-time.
Charles Vernam put Grimsby a goal up when he found himself in acres of space in the box.
The forward fired it at Onana's near post, with the ball squirming underneath the already under-fire goalkeeper.
And things went from bad to worse for the Red Devils and the Cameroonian goalkeeper, as Grimsby doubled their lead.

Panic ensued when The Mariners put the ball into the box from a corner, causing Onana to rush from his goal line in an attempt to punch the ball clear of danger.
However, the former Inter Milan shotstopper missed the ball entirely, leaving a simple tap-in for former United trainee Tyrell Warren.
With the United goalkeeper already being dropped from the starting 11 by boss Ruben Amorim for the Red Devils' opening two Premier League games, the last thing that he needed was to drop a calamitous performance against the League Two opposition.

And fans were quick to take to social media to brutally mock the goalkeeper, with one fan writing: "Onana is the worst goalkeeper I have ever seen. Genuinely pathetic."
Another said: "Onana is taking the absolute p***."
A third added: "This Manchester United club is legit a finished club. And Onana is a disaster."

A fourth wrote: "First game this season and Onana has just reminded us why he’s been on the bench."
Manchester United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge laid the blame on United boss Amorim, saying: "Picking that clown in goal is on Amorim! He's f****** useless."

Amorim now heads into half-time with his side two goals down and scrambling for a goal.
The Red Devils were dominated by the League Two side in the opening period.
United failed to score in their opening Premier League fixture against Arsenal and had to rely on a Rodrigo Muniz own goal against Fulham to grab a draw.
This evening against Grimsby, Amorim's side have yet again struggled to create any real chances, while being severely punished by their lack of defensive awareness and rash goalkeeper.
