A friend of Michael Schumacher has revealed their 'world collapsed' after the German's tragic skiing accident in 2013.
The F1 icon was on holiday in the French Alps when he went off course and struck his head on a rock.
Schumacher was later airlifted to hospital and placed in a medically induced coma, having initially been conscious.
A decade on and his condition remains unknown, with the German cared for by his family away from the spotlight.

During Schumacher's time with Ferrari, the F1 legend would go to a Montana restaurant owned by chef Rossella Giannini.
The restaurant was just a two-minute drive away from Ferrari's factory.
And Giannini has now recalled Schumacher's visits to her business, saying his favourite dish was 'Tagliatelle Al Ragu'.
She also said he liked to order garlic and oil spaghetti.
And Giannini has now emotionally revealed her 'world collapsed' after hearing of Schumacher's skiing accident nearly 10 years ago.
She told Bild: "I was on vacation at the time of his accident and heard it on the news.
"When it became clear how bad the extent of it was, my world collapsed.
"I can hardly believe that the accident happened ten years ago. In the meantime, I was able to make peace with the situation.
"I no longer suffer, but remember the beautiful moments."
Giannini admits she asks Ferrari insiders for updates on Schumacher's condition.
However, she doesn't want to be a bother and hopes Schumacher will one day be strong enough to visit her restaurant once again.
"I don’t want to be a bother. The situation is difficult enough for the relatives," she added.
"Every now and then I talk to people from Ferrari and ask, but I don’t want to impose myself.
"Every day I look at the front door and hope that he will walk through again and that I will make him tagliatelle al ragu."
The anniversary of Schumacher's skiing accident is just days away.

Only close Schumacher family members know how the F1 icon really is these days.
And F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali recently said he wouldn't wish Schumacher's accident on his 'worst enemy'.
"It seems like yesterday his accident in Meribel, they are episodes that change your life," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Out of respect for him and his family we must stay close to him, this difficult situation remains.

Willi Weber, Schumacher's former manager, has lost all hope of seeing the German again.
"When I think of Michael now, unfortunately I don't have anymore hope that I will see him again," he said.
"No positive news after 10 years."
