Littler hit a nine-darter in both of those tournament victories and continued that trend at the weekend.
He celebrated wildly after smashing in a perfect leg to take a 6-5 lead over Cross.
Cross won the next two legs to put himself on the brink of victory before Littler stormed back to clinch the title.
Littler has been dating Eloise Milburn since before the World Championship last year and she regularly posts about her boyfriend on Instagram.
Milburn watched on from home as Littler raced to another tournament win.
And afterwards, she wrote on her Instagram story: "A 9 darter and Euro tour champion on debut! Could not be prouder of you! Love you!"
Littler responded to the post with two love heart emojis.
She also commented on one of Littler's posts, writing: "You are incredible."
Littler had won five matches before reaching Sunday's final, beating Jose de Sousa in the first round on Friday before overcoming Krzysztof Ratajski on Saturday.
He beat Damon Heta in the third round on Sunday before depositing Jermaine Wattimena in the quarter-final.
Littler beat Germany's Ricardo Pietreczko in the semi-final to set up the clash with Premier League rival Cross.
After his quarter-final win, Littler admitted he didn't practice much as he was watching the huge football match between Liverpool and Manchester City.

He said: "I'm just glad to get over the line. I lost the two legs after I hit the nine so I'm relieved to get the win.
"It's always good to be involved in a good game; me and Rob have battles and we bring the best out of each other.
"I'm really happy to hit a nine-darter, I prefer 144 to 141 to finish a nine because when the first treble 20 goes in I'm confident of following it with another.
"I know the spotlight is on me because I've done so well but I just play my darts and get on with it. I just do what I do."
