The 19-year-old has provided clarity amid suggestions he could walk away to become a YouTuber

Luke Littler has brushed aside speculation suggesting he intends to abandon his darts career in favour of becoming a YouTube personality.

The two-time world champion, who currently sits atop the Premier League standings following his fifth night victory of the season in Aberdeen, addressed rumours that have circulated within the sport for approximately a year.

When asked about the social media chatter, Littler smiled and clarified his intentions: "I don't think it's for the YouTube side. I don't think I'll create a YouTube account.

"It's more for TikTok, Instagram, I've never had control of Twitter."

The 19-year-old explained the content he creates with girlfriend Faith is simply designed to give fans a glimpse into his daily life away from the oche.

The footage shared ahead of his Aberdeen triumph offered a rare glimpse of the relaxed side of "The Nuke," capturing him in playful moments such as dancing in a car and applying Louis Vuitton aftershave.

Littler was also filmed opening packs of Panini stickers, a hobby that resonates with fans of all ages.

In one particularly lighthearted clip, the darts sensation and Faith donned penguin bucket hats, headwear made famous by his eccentric oche companion Justin Hood.

"No one has ever really seen what does Luke Littler get up to," he explained.

“Obviously they’ve probably seen the Stephen Bunting YouTube channel.

“That’s more him practising, trying out darts, trying out loads of other stuff."

Littler revealed the motivation behind launching the content, explaining that Faith had been experiencing difficulties at work over the past month or two, prompting them to invest in camera equipment and establish the venture.

"We are both loving it, both getting used to recording each other and just being natural," he said.

The double world champion admitted the filming process comes with its challenges, acknowledging there are numerous re-takes involved in producing each video.

"It is funny when we are recording stuff. There's a lot of re-takes on what we do. Plenty of more videos to go," Littler added, suggesting fans can expect continued behind-the-scenes glimpses into his life away from competitive darts.

Littler appears to have rediscovered his composure following a turbulent spell in the Premier League that included an on-stage altercation with Gian van Veen during the Manchester event.

The teenager endured a hostile reception from supporters in Brighton, where he was subjected to heavy booing, but responded emphatically with victories in both Rotterdam and Aberdeen.

"I think I was just comfortable. Practice was going well, and I'm glad to bring it onto the stage," he reflected after his Granite City success.

The Warrington prodigy now has his sights set on matching his personal record of six night wins in a single Premier League campaign when action resumes in Leeds on Thursday, where he faces Michael van Gerwen.
