The veteran manager joined the People's Channel to chat with Aidan Magee

Watch the moment a former Crystal Palace manager revealed he was a fan of GB News, leaving the presenters absolutely beaming.

Footballing legend Neil Warnock joined broadcaster Aidan Magee this morning to discuss non-league side Macclesfield's surprise victory against the Premier League side in the FA Cup and further teased a return to management.

But, declaring his love for the channel, he gushed: "I have it on every minute of the day when I tune in.

"I love Stephen and Ellie during the week, and I love Stephen and Anne at the weekend, so please keep it up. I do enjoy it."

As a rose-tinted hue crept up the presenters' cheeks, Aidan responded: "Oh, what can I say Neil? Thank you very much. You've made us all blush, Neil!"

"I haven't mentioned you, Aiden!" the ex-manager fired back with a cheeky grin.

Turning to business, Mr Warnock began to give his reaction to Palace's disastrous defeat to Macclesfield last weekend.

The historic moment left serving manager Oliver Glasner fuming and led him to say "our under-21 team would do better than we did".

The cup holders grasped a 2-1 loss against John Rooney's National League North side, who became the first sixth-tier side to banish the holders of the Cup.

"That was a hell of a loss," Aidan prompted.

Concurring, Mr Warnock said: "It probably was the final straw for Oliver, really.

"I thought really from right from pre-season that he wasn't happy.

"He didn't get the players he wanted and he was going to lose guy some at some stage."

Forecasting a shock leave from the club, he added: "I think Steve Parish had been looking after himself now and looking at what he can do to rectify it, and it wouldn't surprise me if he leaves in the next few weeks.

"Because once your mind's made up to go away, then it's very difficult for the dressing room. The lads who aren't in the team will be quite pleased that he's going.

"And it causes ructions, really. And, like I say, it didn't surprise me when I was there. It was like extracting teeth in the summer, getting the player in.

"You just couldn't get them in it. Honestly, it was a nightmare. And I could tell with his interviews in pre-season, he wasn't very happy.

"So it doesn't surprise me at all."

Mr Warnock's projecton has followed Mr Glasner's bombshell announcement that he is set to leave Palace at the end of the season.

The Austrian coach, who is out of contract in the summer, has turned down an offer to remain at Selhurst Park and is now tipped to take over Manchester United.

His side currently sits 13th in the Premier League table.
