Ben Stokes has insisted he's got no regrets over his injury situation with the England captain set to miss the fifth and final Test against India at the Kia Oval.
The 34-year-old has suffered a shoulder injury that means he won't be taking to the field when the crunch showdown begins later today.
Stokes has bowled more overs in this series than any other across his 12 years in Test cricket.
The final 11 of 140 came after he experienced pain in his right shoulder on the final morning of the draw in Manchester on Sunday.

Stokes, speaking on Wednesday, insists playing for England means everything to him. Therefore, he's adamant he's got no regrets about his decision to bowl frequently - even if critics have suggested he shouldn't have.
"When I'm out on the field, I play to win and give everything I possibly can," he said.
"If I feel there's a moment in a game where I need to put everything I'm feeling aside I'll do that - because it's how much this team means to me, how much playing for England means to me, how much winning means to me.
"Being a professional sportsman, injuries are part of this game and I can't do anything about that."

Given his winning mentality, Stokes will be frustrated to miss out today.
The series between England and India has been a classic, a representation of cricket at it's best.
And Stokes admits that while he wants to play, he's simply unable to at the current moment in time.
He continued: "Decisions like this are not straightforward, you have to let the emotion and all of that really settle in before you make a clear, firm decision.

"I did turn up to training to try to give it a run to see if I could go as a batter, but when I was out there watching, the reality of the extent of the injury, risk and reward, it's not something I think would be a sensible call to make considering how much worse it could be by going out there.
"Could the gaps between the games be done a little better? "You've had two eight and nine-day turnarounds and two three days, maybe you could look at making it all fives for every game so there's consistency."
Meanwhile, Stokes also insists England are capable of beating India in his absence.
"We are still able to field an 11 that is going to give us a very good chance of winning this game and winning the series," he said.
"That is the benefit of having a very strong squad.
"We have some good cricketers to choose from when we find ourselves in a situation like this.
"So, let's put full concentration on the 11 we have got out there this week. We are very confident we have got the ability to win this game and the series.
"There was a lot more hype and pressure on his shoulders when he (Bethell) got given the chance to bat at no 3 in New Zealand and he handled that pretty well.

"I think being the type of player that he is where he plays all three formats probably allows him to be a bit more versatile with where he bats in the order.
"He will slide in at six and I am very confident in his ability, he is a quality player, I think we all know that.
"We weren't going to change the batting order at all so it is quite easy for him to slot in at six."
