The 19-year-old has been outstanding at Flushing Meadows so far
Coco Gauff has opened up on why her father wasn't in the box for her US Open win over Caroline Wozniacki on Monday morning.
The 19-year-old continued her quest for Grand Slam glory with a 6-3, 1-3, 6-1 victory over her Danish opponent.
Gauff is now just three wins away from winning a first Grand Slam title of her career.
The youngster is due to face off with Jeļena Ostapenko in the last eight of the competition on Tuesday.

And Gauff has now revealed her father, Corey, doesn't sit in the box because he's too nervous - and was instead 'doing laps' round the stadium.
She joked: "My dad isn’t in the box anymore because he gets too nervous.
"He’s somewhere in one of the suites and he’s been apparently doing laps around the stadium.
"I don’t know if he can hear me right now, but I felt his good energy."
Gauff was also full of praise for Wozniacki, saying it was like the 33-year-old had never left the sport.
The teenager added: "Caroline (Wozniacki) is back and it looks like she never left, the level that she played today is amazing and she's being an inspiration for me.
"I remember when I saw her win the Australian Open, to play with her is an honour.
"She definitely gets to a lot of balls. I felt a bit like I was playing myself.
"I knew I had to play aggressive and go for my shots.
"In some moments I miss but I was happy I could get back and refocus."
At the tender age of 19, Gauff has already made it to five Grand Slam quarter-finals.
This time round, however, she feels she can go even further than ever before - especially with fans in America cheering her on.
"I've been in this position before," she added.
"And I think I have confidence in myself that I can go even further."
As for Wozniacki, the veteran opened up after her defeat and revealed how her approach to tennis had changed since her return to the sport - having previously retired in 2020.
"It’s different. I had two kids. I want to be a good role model for them," she said.
"I obviously want to be a good role model for the kids out there.
"But I’m also a competitor. I’m just out there to fight my hardest.
"I think I’ve always done that. I’m trying to do that with respect to my opponent and everything else.
