Spencer Brown, Fury's manager, teased the comeback during an interview with iFL TV.
"Well, he has bought a new pair of boxing boots, so what does that tell you?" Brown said.
"I was with him the other day up in Scotland, we had a great time, he was happy, he had a couple of Guinnesses, and he does look in good nick."
Brown added: "But he has bought himself a new pair of boxing boots and some new boxing shorts. You will know soon enough, won't you?"
Brown's comments follow a recent social media post from Fury showing him in the gym with trainer SugarHill Steward.
In the video, a slightly sweaty Fury says: "Just in the gym, happened to bump into somebody you might know."
The camera then pans to an energetic SugarHill, who exclaims: "You know what time it is!"
Fury ends the tantalising clip with the words: "You know what's coming."
This reunion with his trainer has further fuelled speculation about the Brit's imminent return to the ring.
The 'Gypsy King' has also indicated his willingness for a trilogy bout with Usyk, boldly stating: "Any time, any place."

This came in response to Usyk's interview with The Stomping Ground, where the Ukrainian mentioned Fury as a potential opponent.
"He's not retired," Usyk said of Fury. "I think Tyson will continue training, continue boxing, because he's a great man."
Responding to the interview on Instagram, Fury wrote: "Beat the f***er two times the world knows the truth. Any time, any place."
Meanwhile, British boxing enthusiasts remain hopeful for a historic all-British clash between Fury and Anthony Joshua.
