The two men fought in October, with the Gypsy King narrowly reigning supreme

Tyson Fury has joked about Francis Ngannou's size as his blockbuster bout with Oleksandr Usyk approaches.

The Gypsy King has been working hard in the gym ahead of his battle with the Ukrainian on February 17, with that fight set to take place in Saudi Arabia.

Fury did, however, recently take some time out to attend a special awards ceremony in Dubai.

He crossed paths with Ngannou in the Middle East, the same man he narrowly beat back in October.

Ngannou actually knocked Fury down during that fight, stunning A-listers such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor who were in attendance.

The boxing world was left rocked, too, especially with the 37-year-old making his boxing debut.

Fury won via split decision but critics feel he didn't train enough for the fight, which is why it panned out the way it did.

Yet there was no bitterness between the two men as they met at the Joy Awards.

A clip from Queensberry Promotions showed Fury and Ngannou shaking hands, with the pair both dressed to impress.

Fury wore a colourful suit, with Ngannou opting to dress in black.

And the Briton couldn't resist a joke, branding his old opponent a 'big fella' in reference to his huge size.

While Fury is gearing up for his fascinating showdown with Usyk, Ngannou is preparing for his own fight.

The 37-year-old will face Anthony Joshua on March 8, with the pair recently confirming their upcoming match.

And Ngannou, speaking to Sky Sports, said he'd always dreamed of facing both Fury and Joshua - as well as Deontay Wilder.

He told the broadcaster: "I'm here for the boxing career and there I have a lot of challenges, a lot of names.

"For example, the top three guys that I've always had are Fury, Joshua and Wilder.

"Wilder better get it together because I'm not done, I want that name on my record."

On changing careers, he added: "It's a boxing career, it's not an MMA career now. We are here talking about my boxing career.

"In my MMA career, I got to the point that is everyone's dream.

"I was MMA champion. There are some great fights to do in MMA but there's not a new challenge, something exciting in MMA."

Joshua, meanwhile, has warned Ngannou that his power could be too much for his rival to cope with when they duel in Saudi in two months' time.

"He has longer arms than me. He’s stocky and big," he said.

"But I think people underestimate me, they think they can just come and put pressure on me because I am not mentally all that or this.

“And as much as there is hype around Ngannou, he still has to come through me.
