The pair get in the ring on Saturday evening

Dillian Whyte warned Moses Itauma to stop acting “like the tough guy” while refusing to remove his sunglasses during a feisty pre-fight face-off ahead of their highly-anticipated bout on Saturday evening.

Itauma, who has already won 12 fights at the age of just 20 recording a 100 per cent win ratio, strolls into the fight as favourite against 37-year-old Whyte, who is tipped to retire should he lose.

Itauma presents Britain's next big hope in the heavyweight division, quickly gaining a reputation for his brutal knockouts while keeping a calm and composed demeanour.

Whyte, meanwhile, has been around the block and boasts vast amounts of experience having shared the ring with British boxing icons such as Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Derek Chisora.

“Take off the glasses and show me those eyes,” Itauma said to the Brixton Bodysnatcher ahead of their clash.

“I want to see if they're a sheep's eyes or a wolf’s.”

The comments come in reference to Itauma’s previous remarks, referring to Robert Greene’s The 48 Laws of Power, a book that delves into the dynamics of power and how to get to the top in society.

“I think there’s a rule in The 48 Laws of Power where you play a sheep to catch a wolf,” Itauma said earlier in the week.

“I feel like that’s what Dillian Whyte’s doing. If he is, [or] if he isn’t, it doesn’t matter. I’m going to bring the heat Saturday night.

“We’re heavyweights and a fight can end at any point. I’m not delusional. I know what threat Dillian Whyte poses. I’m not overlooking him. I’m taking this man seriously."

But in the face-off, Whyte was having none of it.

To Itauma’s request to take his sunglasses off, Whyte retorted: “What you got to see my eyes for? Forget all that man.

“Don't try to act like the tough guy, bro, be relaxed.

“Just be nice and cool. We can put our hands on each other on Saturday.

“Don't try to act the tough guy when we're being nice.”

The sunglasses remained on.

Itauma denied Whyte’s allegations: “I’m not trying to act the tough guy.”

The pair will get in the ring on Saturday evening, with Itauma looking to accelerate the momentum on his exciting career.

Meanwhile, Whyte enters the fight in arguably the best shape of his career having dropped 17lbs from his most recent fight.

The Bodysnatcher has only lost three fights, beating the likes of Chisora, Joseph Parker and Alexander Povetkin, and presents the most difficult and high profile challenge for the young prodigy so far.
