Chris Eubank Jr has revealed the emotional impact of his father's surprise appearance at his recent victory over Conor Benn at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month.
The boxer described the moment his father joined him for his ring walk as "surreal" and "incredible" after previously expecting to face the fight alone.

Speaking to The Sun, Eubank Jr admitted: "I thought I was gonna be alone. I walked into that weigh-in alone in preparation for the fight."

He continued: "I saw Conor with all his team and his dad, and I knew in my heart, in my mind, I knew that that wasn't gonna be what I was gonna have on the night."
The boxer had mentally prepared himself for facing Benn without family support.

"So, listen, I'm gonna be alone on the night, I'm gonna be alone now, it's okay. Get used to it, kid. That was what was going on in my head," he revealed.
"And for that to kind of switch at the last minute it was surreal, it was incredible."

"It's nice to do what you said you was gonna do. And to do something which the fans will remember for a long, long time."

"The fans are the ones that put us in these positions. So to be able to deliver to them, that's all the fighter can really dream for. And we did that."
