Boxing legend Roy Jones Jr has sensationally called out former kickboxer and influencer Andrew Tate for a blockbuster fight, should he come out of retirement.
Jones, 56, won 66 fights, including 47 knockouts, in his illustrious career and he is looking to extend both records with one mammoth bout.
He held four world championships in different weight categories: middleweight, super middelweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight.
Jones' most recent bout came in 2023, where he lost by majority decision against American MMA fighter Anthony Pettis.

As for Tate, the 38-year-old had a very successful kickboxing career and was a four-time world champion.
The influencer then moved into MMA fighting but fought just once.
Jones, however, declared he would be keen to make the blockbuster fight happen.
Speaking to Slingo, who offer the latestcasino slots, he said: “There are a lot of guys who fans would love to see me fight. Andrew Tate, he’s very controversial, he knows his boxing stuff a little, he's been watching me a long time, he says some very good things and sometimes not.
“But I like his guts, that he is not afraid to express himself. That makes a boxer, someone not afraid to express themselves.

“I’d like to fight him, he has one of the bigger platforms and would make the biggest splash.”
While a fight with Tate may be unlikely due to the 38-year-old’s ongoing civil trial over abuse and coercive control allegations that were moved forward recently to summer 2026, Jones also said he would be interested in fighting Tommy Fury.
Fury, 26, said on a recent podcast that he would fight Mike Tyson if the money was right.
Jones, though, believes a fight between Fury and himself would make a bigger “splash”.

He said: “He’s [Tommy Fury] calling out Mike Tyson, Jake [Paul] just had a pretty easy night with him, so people might think he would have an easy night with Tyson.
“But, if you wanted to make a big splash, you could have come and seen Roy. That would have been a good fight. But if he wants Mike, he wants Mike.
“It would attract global attraction. If I came back it would be like when George Foreman and Muhammad Ali came back, because of who they were in their primes.
“Because of who I was in my prime it would attract global attention. People understand and hear that name, they get excited because they know of the name and what it brought to them, even if they saw a small glimpse of that and didn’t get injured, they would be happy.”

Jones then went one step further, suggesting a co-main event including himself, Tyson and both Tommy and John Fury, in a card that would potentially break records across the board.
He suggested: “Of course [John Fury] would [allow the fight to happen], John is a fighter himself, he wanted to fight Mike Tyson, you think he wouldn’t let his son fight me?
“Him and Mike can be the co-main event. We are all fighters at heart forever, I love them all as they are all good people and all fighters at heart.
“Me and Tommy Fury as the main event, that would be a card. Only Turki could afford that one.”
