Oleksandr Usyk's promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, has admitted there remains 'no guarantee' the Ukrainian will fight Tyson Fury.
Usyk and Fury are currently due to lock horns in May, having previously been scheduled to face each other back in February and December.
Fury currently looks in the best shape of his career, with the 35-year-old eager to prove a point following his underwhelming victory over Francis Ngannou back in October.
The Gypsy King continues to insist the fight with Usyk will take place, despite the delays the bout has been subjected to so far.

But Krassyuk, speaking to World Boxing News, has insisted there's 'no guarantee' fans will get their wish of seeing the two men meet in the ring.
“Theoretically, the rematch should happen before the end of 2024," he said.
"However, we all know that Tyson is not the world’s best’ rematch-er.
“And after he loses to Usyk in the first bout, you cannot predict his behaviour at all.
“I say this, but I have no guarantee that the first fight ever takes place.
"The man has withdrawn four times in a row already. We have even decided to stop all the jokes and criticisms towards Luke [Tyson Luke Fury] to support his confidence.
"So if there is anything else we can do to help him get in the ring with Usyk, we are ready to do that.”
Krassyuk was then asked if there was a contingency plan in place should Fury suffer another injury that forces the fight to be postponed.
He responded by adding: “Usyk’s goal is to get the fourth heavyweight belt and to complete the undisputed.
"After accomplishing this mission other options can be regarded.”
One possible fight that could happen in the near future is Anthony Joshua vs Usyk.
Joshua is a man on the up again, having previously been written off as a faded force.
AJ has won his last four fights, with his victory over Ngannou earlier this month proof of his prowess.
The 34-year-old has lost to Usyk twice in his career so far, crashing to defeat in matches in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
And Krassyuk is doubtful the pair will face each other again.

“One more thing that makes their third fight less probable is the sequence of the mandatories," he said.
"As we all know, the next stop of the carousel is IBF, not the WBC.
"No matter who wins, the rematch will go on next, as we will enforce it.
"And even if the IBF let it [the mandatory] go, after the second fight – the IBF is next in line, not the WBC.”
Fury, meanwhile, said over the weekend that he was 'very fit' as his showdown with Usyk creeps closer.

"[I'm] Very fit. I have got nine weeks to go so you can ask me in nine weeks if I am fit and ready," he said.
"I have just started camp, literally a few days ago so yeah I will be fit and ready by the time the fight comes, for sure."
