The two men will do battle at Wembley Stadium tonight

Daniel Dubois has vowed to get revenge on Anthony Joshua after the 34-year-old threatened to clatter him with a chair ahead of their bout tonight.

All eyes will be on the pair when they step out at Wembley Stadium in a huge night of boxing.

Back in June, the duo were separated by security after Joshua threatened to beat him with a chair.

And Dubois has now admitted he's keen to get revenge, insisting that he's fuelled by a desire to 'make Joshua pay' for those comments three months ago.

"I need to make him pay for those words. I have to make sure I do something about that," he said in an interview with The Sun.

"But the best place for me to do that is in the ring on Saturday night.

"I am ready to get in there and bash AJ now.

"I know I can cope in dark places now. I have made those dark places a home for me now.

"I don’t need to weather storms any more - because I am the storm now."

Dubois hasn't had it easy on his way to facing Joshua, with the 27-year-old previously suffering defeats to Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk.

Tonight, however, will be his chance to achieve redemption.

Dubois was consoled by Usyk after losing to the Ukrainain in 2023 and has since proceeded to beat the likes of Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic.

And the Briton believes those kind words of comfort can help him floor Joshua tonight.

"They were the right words at the time. And I did come back from it," he said.

"I needed to sort things out and that’s all in the past now — I am a man of the future.

"I feel like I have redeemed myself now."

Joshua, meanwhile, has vowed to entertain the crowd at Wembley tonight as he looks to become a three-time world champion.

"The thing is with our sport, in a gladiatorial and historical fashion, if you get in the ring and I make it boring, no-one is going to want to see that, unfortunately," he said.

"So I owe it to the paying public to go out as a fighter.

"To go out there as a fighter, gladiator, warrior and demonstrate my ability that I can decapitate my opponent.

"That is why people tune in, because I try, and I’m going to keep trying."

Joshua is currently on a roll, with the 34-year-old winning all four of his last fights since his crushing defeat to Usyk two years ago.
