Princess Kate and Prince William's newly released video celebrating Prince George's birthday included a sweet tribute to US pop star Taylor Swift.
The 12-year-old could be seen wearing a friendship bracelet in the opening scenes, reminiscent of the future king's 11th birthday portrait.
Last summer, several members of the Royal Family stepped out wearing friendship bracelets, including King Charles, the Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Charlotte.
The trend appeared to begin when the Prince of Wales took his eldest two children to a Taylor Swift concert in London.

Friendship bracelets are popular among Swift's fanbase (known as Swifties) due to a lyric in the song "You’re on Your Own, Kid" from her 2022 album, Midnights.
Many fans would exchange friendship bracelets whilst attending the Eras Tour, Swift's record-breaking world tour from 2023 to 2024 that became the highest-grossing tour of all time.
When Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended the concert, Swift published a photograph from backstage with the Waleses alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The singer-songwriter captioned the post: "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start."

Kensington Palace's official social media channels also released a photograph with the caption: "Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour".
Elsewhere in Prince George's birthday video, the three Wales children could be seen posing together on a wooden fence.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte additionally playfully carried their youngest brother, Louis, in the air.
All three children burst out laughing during the silly moment.

As the trio walked through the grass holding hands, Louis' smile showed off his missing front teeth.
This detail was first spotted by eagle-eyed royal fans in his own birthday portrait and the accompanying video that followed back in April 2025.
