"Thanks for being such a great friend. Lots of love Sarah. Xxxx."
Gloria Allred, the lawyer who has represented several of Epstein's victims, described it as a "disgrace" that Ms Ferguson appeared to visit Epstein while he was in prison.
"The then Duchess of York could not have ignored the local police officer sitting at the front desk of Epstein's office when she visited him.
"Why did she appear to go out of her way to visit Epstein as he was serving a sentence for a crime against a child? Did she think that her own personal financial situation was more important than a crime against a child?", the lawyer told the Mail.

The former duchess has previously expressed her regret about knowing and being associated with Epstein
| GETTYUS Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, a member of the House Oversight Committee investigating Epstein, said: "Sarah Ferguson clearly had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, just like her former husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
"She should tell our committee everything she knows. If she's done nothing wrong, it will help her to clear her name, and help us get justice for the victims."
Ms Ferguson has stated in the past her regret with being associated with Epstein, saying: "I would never have anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again. I abhor paedophilia and any sexual abuse of children. It was a gigantic error of judgment."
Being named or pictured in the Epstein files does not show any sign of wrongdoing or misconduct.
