Mike Tindall made his feelings on London clear in a recent interview

Zara and Mike Tindall have stunned down under as they attended Magic Millions Gold Raceday in Australia.

The royal couple were able to showcase their summer wardrobe as they stepped out in the warm weather of the Gold Coast.

Magic Millions Gold Raceday is a major horse racing event that takes place at the Gold Coast Turf Club, and they shared pictures of the royals ahead of the event.

The 44-year-old Olympic silver medalist wore a Nemy Bow mini dress from Rebecca Vallance, an Australian designer who is a regular in the royal’s wardrobe.

The dress was styled with crystals along the pockets and around the neckline. The short dress is a far cry from last year’s outfit choices for the Australian horse racing event.

Last year, she was spotted in a Ms Vallance cocktail dress, a floral Leo Kin midi dress, and a black lace dress from Leo Lin.

This year, Princess Anne’s daughter accessorised her outfit with a bedazzled clutch and headband.

The couple has been involved with Magic Millions, Australia’s leading thoroughbred auction house and a world-renowned horse racing carnival, for over 10 years.

Zara was named the inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women's ambassador in 2012, after winning her medal at the London Olympic Games.

The mother-of-three spoke about her time with Team GB, saying: “It was all about your individual performance and collaborating that together as a team.

“I loved riding for Team GB, I loved being on that team and in a team atmosphere. It is so different to your day-in and day-out professional career.

“It’s where you want to be, and where you want to aspire to be."

Mike also spoke during the interview on BBC Radio 5 Live, where he called London “grumpy” now in comparison to 2012.

He claimed: “The atmosphere of 2012 was incredible. You think about London now, it’s grumpy, but during the 2012 Olympics, everyone was great, the volunteers were amazing.

“The backdrop of the dressage was amazing.

Zara concluded by saying: “Having that many people in one place was incredible. I always loved going into the dining hall in the Olympic village and all those people from everywhere globally, there for one reason.”

The Olympic silver medalist was also asked by Jacob Bethell during his Ashes Test Match special: “Do you still saddle up?” to which Zara replied: “A little bit.”
