Princess Diana "wanted to re-do her royal wedding" due to a major regret, according to the late royal's former hairdresser.
Diana's former hairdresser, Richard Dalton, has revealed that the late royal wished to "re-do" her wedding day hair, calling it a "disaster".
In his new book, "It's All About the Hair—My Decade with Diana", Dalton shared intimate details about his time styling the former Princess of Wales.
"Diana did express to me that she wished she could do the wedding over again to 'get the hair right'," Dalton has said.
Dalton, who worked with Diana for 10 years, has recalled styling the world's most photographed woman.
"Some days she would be happy, some days quiet, some days talkative and some days sad," he continued to tell People.
Dalton's book also revealed his experiences styling the hair of other Royal Family members.
He was responsible for Prince William and Prince Harry's first haircuts, a task he continued until they were 10 and seven years old, respectively.

Dalton quipped: "The first time I cut Harry's hair, the windows were open, and I was holding his lock of reddish hair, thinking, 'Oh, if this blows away, I'm in trouble.
"'I'll be put in the Tower of London'."
He fondly remembered the young princes' excitement during haircuts, saying: "William would get terribly excited.
"He'd run and get the little white chair and would put it on top of the square coffee table."

At Diana's recommendation, Dalton styled King Charles's hair once, aiming to "make it a little more modern".
Dalton recalled William and Harry's constant presence around Diana, often "under my feet when I was trying to do her hair".
Despite her personal struggles, Diana remained committed to her royal duties. Dalton noted: "Diana was very conscious that she did not want her hair to overshadow the charity she was representing that day and supporting".
The hairdresser also reminisced about their adventurous styling choices, including adorning Diana's hair with orchids in Thailand, which he described as his favourite hair moment.
