The couple journeyed to Australia this week for their roles as ambassadors

Mike and Zara Tindall have joined up with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's close friends, Nacho Figueras and Delphina Blaquier, ahead of the annual Magic Millions Carnival.

The Sussexes' pals were photographed with the Tindalls at an exhibition featuring equine artist Nicole Slater.

The trio are all ambassadors for the foundation, with Zara and Mike having been involved for 10 years.

Following the event, Mr Figueras wrote on social media: "A very special night honouring women. Among the beautiful solo exhibition by the talented Nicola Slater, who also portrayed some of our horses back in Argentina."

Mr Figueras and Zara will be taking part in a charity polo match at this year's carnival.

Princess Anne's daughter laughed off a question about her competitive streak after Mike teased her about facing Mr Figueras and his wife, Ms Blaquier, in the match.

Speaking in a Seven Horse Racing interview after landing in Australia for the Magic Millions Carnival, the pair discussed Zara's plans to compete in showjumping and polo across the coming days.

Asked if she would be "show jumping again and playing polo", Zara replied: "I'm doing both again.

"And yes, I'm in the Off The Track class, which is incredible. I'm jumping in that class, which is great.

"And then polo in the afternoon against Nacho and Delphina, the other ambassadors. So it's a fun-packed day. It's a very busy day. But it's incredible, and people get to be right up close to the horses."

Mike then quizzed his wife about her record against the Sussexes' friends. "Have you beaten Nacho or Delphina yet?" he joked.

Zara winced before replying: "Yes, but not for a few years. So it's a bit…" as Mike cut in: "It's turning into a good match!"

The interviewer then asked Zara if she was competitive, to which she replied: "Not at all. Not at all. I don't know what you're talking about" before laughing. Mike immediately piled in: "That's a complete lie, everyone!"

Mr Figueras and Ms Blaquier are widely known in royal circles as close friends of Harry and Meghan.

The Argentine polo player has appeared alongside the Duke of Sussex at polo events and charity matches over the years.

Prince Harry was most recently photographed at the World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen on December 17, 2025, where he played in the match and spent time with Mr Figueras during the trip.

A centrepiece of Zara and Mike's schedule is the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo and Showjumping day on January 11, 2026, at Doug Jennings Park in Main Beach.

Organisers list Mr Figueras and Ms Blaquier among the polo players alongside Zara.

Zara's showjumping appearance is tied to the Magic Millions Queensland Off The Track Cup Final, which spotlights retired racehorses retrained for equestrian sport.

The mother-of-three is set to ride Rescorla, and the class forms part of the broader polo and showjumping carnival.
