Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday that King Charles has formally terminated Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s lease at Royal Lodge.
GB News has taken a look at the property Royal Lodge, as well as the Sandringham Estate, where Andrew has now been told to live.

For over two decades, Andrew has resided at Royal Lodge, an expansive Windsor property comprising 30 rooms set within 98 acres of secluded grounds.
The former prince has shared this residence with his ex-spouse, Sarah Ferguson, since 2008.

However, his tenancy arrangements recently shifted.
On Thursday evening, official notification was issued to terminate Andrew's leasehold, with confirmation that he will relocate to a privately-owned property within the monarch's Norfolk estate at Sandringham.
Royal Lodge forms part of the Crown Estate and has served as royal accommodation continuously since 1840.
During the 1930s, the property served as a rural sanctuary for King George VI and his consort, who would later become the Queen Mother.

| GETTYShe maintained Windsor residency there for half a century until her death at the property in 2002.
Andrew secured a 75-year leasehold in 2003, paying £1million initially whilst committing to an annual rent of "one peppercorn" if requested.
The agreement stipulated he invest £7.5million in renovations by 2005, according to National Audit Office documentation.
The property's appearance transformed under his tenure, changing from its characteristic pink hue to white following extensive refurbishments he undertook.

Meanwhile, Sandringham House has functioned as the personal residence of British royalty across five generations spanning over 150 years.
The Norfolk property serves as the monarch's traditional Christmas retreat.
The estate originated in 1862 when the future Edward VII acquired it as a secluded country residence whilst still the Prince of Wales.
The principal residence underwent reconstruction in 1870 to accommodate his expanding household.
The property where Andrew will establish his new home encompasses an extensive domain.
The grounds comprise 16,000 acres devoted to agriculture, 3,500 acres of forest, and 150 residential buildings distributed throughout the estate's boundaries.
The estate incorporates numerous communities, amongst them West Newton and Sherborne, with residential lettings available across 13 villages for local workers and residents.
Current rental opportunities include a two-bedroom brick terrace property in Flitcham village, advertised at £975 monthly.

The King will "make appropriate private provision" for his brother's accommodation needs.
The leasehold documentation revealed that Andrew would have received approximately £558,000 had he voluntarily surrendered his Windsor tenancy, though this compensation may be affected by outstanding maintenance obligations.
