Meghan Markle revealed a royal fan sent her daughter a handwritten letter addressed to "Princess Lilibet Diana".
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down at their Montecito residence on Sunday following a packed four-day visit to Australia, where a touching gesture from their young children awaited them.
Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, had prepared a "Welcome Home" banner which hung above the entrance to the family home.
The handmade decoration, adorned with a red heart, greeted the couple as they stepped through the doorway after their lengthy journey from the southern hemisphere.

Neither child had accompanied their parents on the trip, having remained at home during Harry and Meghan's humanitarian visit to Jordan in February.
Among the thoughtful items awaiting the couple was a handwritten note bearing the address "Princess Lilibet Diana", placed alongside an array of Australian treats and gifts.
The spread included Tim Tams, the country's beloved chocolate biscuits, as well as picture books featuring native wildlife such as koalas, colouring sets, stickers and various sweets.
Handwritten cards from well-wishers in Australia accompanied the collection, with one message reading: "May your world always be as bright and beautiful as the colours you choose… Love from Australia."

The duchess was spotted sneaking one of the Tim Tams for herself whilst filming the display.
The Australian visit, which ran from April 14 to 19, marked the couple's first return to the country since their official royal tour in October 2018, when they announced they were expecting Archie.
Their itinerary spanned Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, combining philanthropic work with private engagements centred on mental health awareness and veteran support.
During the trip, Prince Harry spoke candidly about not wanting his royal role following Princess Diana's death in 1997, whilst Meghan reflected on becoming "the most trolled person in the entire world" after her relationship with the duke began a decade ago.
