Queen Mary stunned in royal blue as she stepped out without King Frederik again on Tuesday.

The Danish queen debuted a bright blue trouser suit by London-based label, The Fold.


The Queen attended the Specialists’ 20th anniversary at the National Museum in Copenhagen.

Mary’s asymmetric peplum-style suit jacket hugged her figure as she styled the ensemble with Jimmy Choo heels which peeked out beneath her flared trousers.

The Queen accessorised with bold, gold earrings and two dainty necklaces featuring her husband’s initials as well as her children’s.

The King and Queen of Denmark share four children, Crown Prince Christian, 18, Princess Isabella, 16 and 13-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.

Mary styled her brunette locks in loose waves that fell over her shoulders and kept her make-up simple with pink lipstick and rosy cheeks.

The anniversary event in Copenhagen recognised the association which works to harness the talents of people with autism and other neurodivergent people in the workplace.

This is the third time that the Queen has stepped out without her husband, King Frederik since they returned from an Easter holiday.

On Sunday, Mary made another solo appearance as Denmark’s Environment Minister Magnus Heunicke opened a Deer Park in Copenhagen.

The royal looked country chic as she stepped out in a light brown roll-neck jumper by Polo Ralph Lauren covered with a Hunter green waistcoat.

The Queen was seen chatting to staff at the Deer Park and looking around the site before making a speech.

The palace has confirmed that the Danish royal family will make a balcony appearance together on Frederik’s 56th birthday on May 26.

The King and Queen of Denmark are also set to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary next month.

The couple will celebrate the romantic occasion during an overseas tour of their Scandinavian neighbours.

On May 14, 2004, Frederik and Mary tied the knot in Copenhagen Cathedral after announcing their engagement the previous year.

The Danish prince met his Australian-born wife at the Slip Inn pub in Sydney during the 2000 Olympics.

Julia Melchior, a royal commentator spoke to GB News about their first tour as Danish monarchs.

She said: “For the Danish King and Queen this is not just an official appointment but the meeting of their closest friends.

“King Frederik was the best man to Crown Prince Haakon at his wedding in 2001. The royal couples of the three Scandinavian monarchies are very close.”
