Dr Nicholas Hugh, who holds the position of Apothecary to the Queen, has been appointed Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.
Ranan Dasgupta, a consultant urologist at King Edward VII's Hospital, has received the same honour.

Mr Dasgupta specialises in treating prostate disease and kidney stones.
He became sergeant-surgeon to the royal medical household in 2023, having joined the monarchy's medical team three years earlier.
The consultant was serving in this capacity when the King underwent a prostate procedure in January 2024, during which his cancer was identified.
