The new name better reflects the organisation's strong connections to charitable causes in Swindon, alongside its work across Wiltshire.
The Foundation invests in people and provides funding to charities throughout the region, helping them flourish and maintain their positive impact on local communities.
During her visit, Her Majesty met representatives from several organisations that receive support from the Foundation.

She also cut a cake to celebrate the milestone anniversary before concluding her visit by meeting Joanna Weaver at her ice cream van, another venture backed by the Foundation.
The charitable organisations include Growbaby, which provides free baby clothes and supplies to families in need, and All Yours Period Box, which tackles period poverty by providing supplies to women who cannot afford them.
The Queen also met representatives from Changing Suits, an organisation working with South Asian communities to overcome cultural barriers, and Platform Project, which equips disadvantaged and vulnerable young people with the skills, confidence and experience needed to secure employment and develop careers.
Smart Mushrooms, which produces science-based mushroom products for health and wellbeing, was also among the organisations showcased during the royal visit.

On Wednesday, The Queen travelled to Wimbledon met several long-serving members of staff who help maintain the prestigious tennis venue.
Her Majesty was introduced to Will Brierley, the lead groundsperson who has spent two decades at the Club and oversees the Championship Courts.
She also met Robin Murphy, the lead gardener who recently marked 20 years of service.
Murphy has been working tirelessly to care for the venue's 50,000-plus plants during the recent spell of hot weather.

The Queen was introduced to Malin Lundin, the collections manager, who has spent 12 years at the Club.
Lundin has played a key role in showcasing Wimbledon's heritage through exhibitions that greet players and visitors.
Following these introductions, Her Majesty watched matches at Centre Court in the afternoon.
Her Majesty also met Novak Djokovic, who defeated Italian player Flavio Cobolli in their quarter-final clash on Wednesday.
