Queen Camilla received no gift from Meghan Markle today, as the Duchess of Sussex's pals confirmed they were the recipients of the birthday presents that sparked confusion on social media.
The Duchess, 43, filmed herself preparing a gift box filled with As Ever rosé wine on the day before Camilla's 78th birthday.
Meghan captioned the post: "Sending birthday love (both near and far) to my ladies," accompanied by a white heart emoji.
Three bottles of the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, which sold out after being made available for purchase on July 1, were visible in the footage that the Duchess shared on Instagram.

The social media post sparked confusion about who would receive the wine, as Queen Camilla was celebrating her big day on July 17.
The Queen is also known to be a lover of the alcoholic beverage, having previously said: "People always ask me how I became involved in it all.
"Well, first of all, I love wine, but secondly, my father was in the wine business, so I was brought up as a child drinking wine and water rather like the French."
However, it has now been revealed that Meghan's two friends, Heather Dorak and Jamie Kern Lima, were gifted the rosé wine.

Taking to Instagram, Dorak wrote: "You know how to make a friend feel special @meghan", accompanied by the birthday box.
Meanwhile, Kern Lima posted: "@meghan thank you for the most magical birthday basket!
"Our friendship is a gift as is your beautiful soul!"
The podcast host added: "@meghan this is the most beautiful birthday basket...truly magical!

Royal fans were initially confused whether Camilla was a recipient of the As Ever drink, with one saying: "Pretending that Meghan was alluding to [Camilla] is pathetic and hilarious. LOL."
However, someone else wrote: "M sending Camilla birthday wishes and a bottle of wine wasn't something I was expecting, but here we are."
