Princess Eugenie has taken the family to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, London, as she leaves her parents' recent troubles behind.

The youngest daughter of the former Duke and Duchess of York was seen smiling with her children, August, four and Ernest, two.

The 35-year-old royal wore a fawn belted coat, with a grey top and baggy jeans.

She was in a jovial mood, enjoying a huge lollipop as she held onto her youngest son.

During their trip, the family enjoyed hot dogs and pizza, as well as a ride on the bumper cars.

Princess Eugenie, who is 12th in line to the throne, and her sister, Beatrice, who is ninth in line, will retain their titles despite their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, having his titles stripped.

King Charles is said to have been very keen to "protect" his nieces, who remain Her Royal Highnesses as granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth II.

"He wouldn't have wanted to sign off on anything that would impact them," a source previously told the Daily Mail.

Buckingham Palace confirmed a month ago Andrew will be stripped of his prince title and is also being forced out of Royal Lodge.

A statement from the Palace read: "His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew.

"Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

"His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.

"Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.

"These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.

"Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."

The removal process applies to Andrew's titles of Prince, Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, Baron Killyleagh and the style "His Royal Highness".

The honours affected are Andrew's Order of the Garter and Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

GB News understands King Charles acted swiftly following developments in October, which led to his brother relinquishing the use of his titles and honours as soon as possible.

These developments are thought to have required time, legal and constitutional expertise, and support from the wider family to bring about.

Andrew has always denied wrongdoing, but it is understood that the scandals surrounding the King's brother were becoming too much of a distraction.
