The Royal Family is no stranger to environmental causes

Princess Eugenie has leant her support to a cause supported by King Charles and Prince William.

The 35-year-old royal took to social media to share her backing of to the new film Ocean with David Attenborough, which the King and Prince of Wales watched separately at different screenings.

Last night, the King attended the world premiere of the feature-length documentary at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

The film, which is set to debut in cinemas before streaming on Disney+, focuses on sharing “the story of how we can, and must, restore the glory of Earth’s vast, interconnected waters,” according to a press release.

The King was pictured alongside Attenborough, both resplendent in black bow ties, as they strode the blue carpet – which was fittingly used instead of the traditional red carpet.

Earlier that day, Prince William attended a “private screening” of the film.

Joining her fellow royals, Eugenie took to her Instagram account to promote the Attenborough movie with multiple posts to her story.

She posted a clip of the soon to be 99-year-old conservationist issuing a call to action over protecting the world’s oceans, declaring “what happens next is up to us”.
