The Princess of York has a close friendship with Ayda Field

Princess Eugenie hosted pop legend Robbie Williams at her home in Portugal earlier this week.

The royal recently hosted singer Robbie Williams and his spouse, Ayda Field.

The King's niece entertained the couple at the property she shares with husband Jack Brooksbank.

Their visit formed part of a family holiday that Field documented through social media posts.

The actress shared multiple photographs from their time with the royal couple on Instagram.

One photograph showed her alongside Princess Eugenie near an ornate metal gate, with the royal wearing a khaki sundress paired with light-coloured sandals.

Another snapshot featured the princess in casual attire, a striped top and cap, smiling with both Field and Williams.

Williams and Field, who married in 2010, have four children together - Theodora (known as Teddy), Charlie, Coco and their youngest, Beau.

At Princess Eugenie's Windsor wedding in 2018, Teddy Williams served as a flower girl.

She joined other young members of the bridal party, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Savannah and Isla Phillips, and Mia Tindall.

The Brooksbanks divide their time between Ivy Cottage in the UK and their Portuguese home, where they raise sons August, aged four, and two-year-old Ernest.

Princess Eugenie is set for a new neighbour in Portugal, according to local media.

Their Portuguese property is a secluded and exclusive resort nestled in Comporta on the Alentejo coast, where property prices start at a staggering £3.6million.

According to local media, Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has applied for residency in Portugal and is understood to be eyeing a villa in the same CostaTerra resort.

Portuguese outlet SIC Notícias revealed this week that the Hollywood star, 58, has submitted paperwork to the country’s Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum.

This would not be Kidman's first home in Portugal. She and her husband are already thought to own a property closer to Lisbon.
