Karen Anvil told GB News that Eugenie looked 'glowing' during the exchange

Princess Eugenie appeared “more outwardly confident” than her sister Princess Beatrice during the Sandringham Christmas Day walk, according to royal witness Karen Anvil.

Speaking to GB News, Ms Anvil said she briefly interacted with Princess Eugenie as she greeted members of the public outside St Mary Magdalene Church on December 25, 2025.

“Yes, briefly,” she told the People's Channel. “The interaction was calm and positive.”

Ms Anvil claimed Princess Eugenie appeared comfortable engaging with the crowd as she approached the church.

“She appeared more outwardly confident at that point and was engaging warmly with the crowd,” she said.

Ms Anvil added that Princess Eugenie looked “glowing” during the exchange.

She contrasted Eugenie’s manner with that of Princess Beatrice earlier in the walk, noting a difference in how the sisters presented themselves as they arrived.

Princess Eugenie attended the Christmas Day service with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, while Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi accompanied a more nervous-looking Princess Beatrice.

Ms Anvil said her observations were based on long-term familiarity with the Sandringham walk and how members of the Royal Family typically interact with the public.

She added that both sisters were welcomed positively by those gathered.

The royal fan has attended the Sandringham walk for the past eight years, having taken several photographs of the Royal Family.

Ms Anvil's footage of Princess Beatrice walking beside Mr Mapelli Mozzi went viral on TikTok, after the fan told the royal she was “so glad she came”.

The mother-of-two appeared to respond: “Oh, that's very kind, thank you.”

Beatrice and her sister, Eugenie, surprised royal fans by attending Sandringham with King Charles on Christmas Day, an event not attended by their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.

The former duke and duchess became embroiled in scandals primarily centred on their ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, leading to their unprecedented removal from public life in late 2025.

It was previously reported that Beatrice, 37, would jet abroad with Mr Mapelli Mozzi to avoid all the drama.

However, this was proven to be untrue on Christmas Day when the couple stepped out in Norfolk with the Royal Family.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi's son from a previous relationship, Wolfie, spent the festive season with his mother, Dara Huang, in Florida.
